What is a One Step Correction?

Discover the streamlined process of One Step Paint Correction, a method that synergizes a single machine, one pad, and a correction liquid in a single procedure to eliminate paint defects. The aim of this one-step paint correction procedure varies based on the vehicle's condition. It's important to note that the extent of defect removal may be restricted in some cases. While it may not address all defects on most automotive surfaces, this method can achieve complete defect removal on vehicles boasting highly cooperative paint systems.

Our Paint Polishing Process:

Step1
Clean Wheels, Tires, & Fenders

Detail starts with a thorough cleaning of the wheel faces, wheel barrels, tires, and inner fender liner

Step2
Gentle Foam Hand Wash

Vehicle gets a thick layer of foam and a gentle hand wash (while we clean the jambs, gas cap, and remove bugs from paint)

Step3
Chemically Remove Iron Particles

To ensure a clean surface, we remove iron particles from your paint via a chemical decontamination

Step4
Clay Bar Treatment

The next step to a clean surface is a clay bar treatment to remove any remaining embedded dirt and debris (your paint will feel really smooth).

Step5
Tape Off Sensitive Areas

To decrease polish build-up or staining, we'll tape off and protect any trim/chrome/sensitive areas

Step6
Compound Phase (Correction)

Safely remove a majority of the swirls and scratches from your paint with a machine polisher, cutting pad, and compound

Step7
Polishing Phase (Polish)

This will increase shine and clarity by polishing the micro-scratches that are leftover from the compound phase

Step8
Paint Wipe Down

To inspect true condition, we'll wipe down the paint to remove any leftover polish residue that can be hiding imperfections

Step9
Apply Paint Protection

Based on your choice of protection, we will install a ceramic coating on paint, and plastic surfaces.

Step10
Dress Tires, Plastic & Trim

To give the exterior an extra pop, most of the exterior plastic and trim will be dressed to an even black finish like the tires, fenders, and trim (it will not be greasy)

Step11

Step12

The best Level 2 Car Polishing and Detailing

Enhance Your Car's Shine with Two-Stage Paint Correction in Phoenix, AZ

Our Phoenix, AZ paint correction service is expertly designed to address more pronounced defects and delicate clear coat finishes, including those found in flat black paint systems. These cases necessitate a meticulous two-stage process involving cutting and polishing. This approach is strategically implemented to combat marring, a consequence of friction during the heavy defect removal phase from the clear coat. Subsequently, a refining polish is applied to ensure a perfectly restored and polished surface.

The Goals of Two Stage Paint Polishing Depend on:

Stage1
Heavy defect removal aka compounding

In Phoenix, AZ, our paint correction service encompasses a two-stage process, starting with compounding. This initial stage is typically more labor-intensive as it's dedicated to eliminating more substantial and deeper defects. Consequently, a two-step paint correction procedure comes with a notably higher cost and longer completion time in comparison to a one-step paint correction.

Stage2
Refinement aka finish polishing

The Second Stage, finish polishing, refined the hard work of the compounding step. It’s the ‘rejoiceful moment’ that showcases all the surface refinement including color, gloss, and distinction of image. As a result, two step paint corrections frequently transform vehicles to look their all-time best!

Absolutely! We carry separate ceramic coatings for individual surfaces such as paint, plastic, windows, and wheels (at an additional price). Our shop automatically includes a one year ceramic coating to all painted surfaces.
This is an “it depends” kind of answer. After the paint is polished, it comes down to how well you maintain the vehicle afterwards. If you take it through a $5 car wash, you can easily get back to square one in a matter of weeks. If you properly wash and dry your vehicle, the results will stay for a much longer than compared to if you use a dirty towel and water to wash your vehicle.
Yes! We offer all our paint correction and ceramic coating services at our shop location. Depending on the level of work, it can take 2 to 3 days to complete the service.
Level 1 paint polishing will remove 75 to 85% of the imperfections in your paint.
Level 2 paint polishing will remove 85 to 90% of the imperfections in your paint.

For most vehicles, Level 1 will be just fine and a level 2 is for paint systems that are soft.
